Brian Dawson

Brian has been North Carolina’s #1 Radio and Television Personality for over six years.  Brian dominates the radio and television airwaves and most major nightclubs throughout the triangle.  He is the afternoon drive host at Radio One of Raleigh for WQOK FM, and his show The Traffic Jamz can be heard throughout the central parts of North Carolina to southern Virginia.
  





Kat Truitt

Kat started Ballroom and Latin dancing at the Metronome Ballroom in San Francisco, CA in 1998.  As she began putting technique into every style of dance, she knew she wanted to inspire people and to teach them how to move differently within themselves and together with partners.   Her biggest goals are to work toward competing in International Standard and to teach children and teachers.

Keith Henderson

For more than 20 years, Keith has brought back memories of Elvis through his show, "Illusions of the King". Keith takes pride that his performance is completely natural and his show is a true tribute to the King of Rock and Roll. Keith has competed and won in numerous tribute competitions including the 2002 "Tribute to the King" contest in Biloxi, Mississippi.





Katy Massengill

Katy is an instructor at A Step to Gold full of abundant enthusiasm, encouragement, and patience, making her students feel at ease and confident with their progress and achievements.  Katy specializes in American and International style dancing and also competes professionally in both styles of dance. Although Katy has a great passion for competition, she still believes the most important part about dancing is having fun.

Jessica Jacobs

Miss North Carolina Jessica Jacobs finished her first year as a graduate student at NC State University where she is a full tuition scholar and public speaking instructor.  Jessica founded the “Read to Me” literacy program and has developed the program throughout North Carolina.  She is also an ambassador and fund raiser for the Children’s Miracle Network. 





Roland Paicely

Roland has been dancing & studying for over 11 years.  He is a transplant from southern California, where he learned & taught West Coast Swing.  Roland loves doing the Salsa, Tango, Samba, Cha Cha & other Latin themed dances.  "Everyone should dance.  It's fun and it keeps you feeling good and acting like a child at heart.  If you want to get more enjoyment out of life, invest in yourself and take some lessons."

Lynda Loveland

Since 1998, Lynda has been one of the Triangle’s favorite TV news anchors on WRAL-TV.  Lynda loves to play basketball and volleyball and has earned a deputy black belt in tae kwon do.  She considers Clay Aiken to be one of her most memorable assignments since she interviewed him before he competed on American Idol and has reported on his career ever since. 






Dick Hensley

Dick has been a popular Ballroom instructor in the Triangle for the last nine years.  Previously, he competed and taught in the NYC area as well as California.  In San Jose, CA, he was involved in a studio that trained new dance teachers. During the late '80's, he was co-founder of the Dance Menagerie dance troupe which became the official "Dirty Dancing Review" after Dick and the entire troupe were in the movie "Dirty Dancing".

Mark Roberts

A former “trafficologist” and reporter for WRAL-TV, Mark’s most memorable assignments include Operation Desert Storm, the occupation of Haiti and reporting from Albania during the Kosovo crisis.  Mark is now the official spokesperson for Capital Ford and host of WRAL’s Brain Game.  He and his wife, Tresa, enjoy hiking with their three rescued dogs Chewy, Leo and Josey Mae.


 Adrianne McDaniel

A full time dance instructor, Adrianne has performed all around the world – Italy, Germany, Holland, as well as New York City and her home state of North Carolina. Adrianne hopes to bring an abundant amount of knowledge, passion and devotion to the art of ballroom dancing and to inspire students in the same manner in which she has been inspired over the years.
